Day 34/56 - Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
Today is Day 34, and we’re continuing with another storytelling challenge! Today, we’re going to watch a story called “Believe in Yourself.” Please make sure you watch my video as an example and take a look at the lesson script for some ideas and new vocabulary you can use. Your challenge is simple: 1. Watch the video: https://youtu.be/FaoevMkMu1M?feature=shared 2. Understand the story. 3. Retell the story using your own words. Remember: you don’t need to memorize the story or repeat every single detail. The goal is to take what you understood and put it into your own words. That’s how you build real speaking confidence! 🗣️ 💬 Need a little more support? If storytelling is new to you and you’d like some extra guidance, tomorrow @Joe Musgrave will be holding a conversation session focused on storytelling! Make sure you don’t miss it and add it to your calendar! 🕗 8 PM Brazil time 🕓 4 PM Las Vegas time I hope to see you all there! And now… I can’t wait to see your videos! 🎥❤️ Keep going. Keep speaking. Keep believing in yourself!

Day 33/56 Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
Day 33 is here! Welcome to another storytelling challenge! Today, we’re watching “The Hardworking Mother.” Make sure to check out the script and watch the video carefully. And remember: don’t overthink it! Just watch the story and retell it in your own words. You can watch the video here: https://youtu.be/drCMd7Jr2Sg?is=DClPXVYwH7Hfki0e You don’t have to remember every detail or use perfect English. Just tell the story the best way you can. I’m absolutely loving seeing your progress and watching you step outside your comfort zone with these activities. That’s exactly how we learn to speak English: we practice, we make mistakes, and we keep going! Let’s do this! 🗣️⛓️‍💥 🇺🇸

Day 32/56 Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
Welcome to day 32! First, thank you so much to everyone who joined our class on Saturday! It was so much fun! If you missed it, don’t worry! The recording and all the class materials are already available under Classroom → Recorded Live Lessons, so you can watch it whenever you have time. And I’m so proud of everyone who is still showing up and keeping up with the challenge! 32 days in! Keep going! Today, we’re going to start practicing something really important for real-life English: storytelling. 🎬 TODAY’S CHALLENGE Today, you’re going to watch a short video called: The Girl and the Ice Cream Truck Your job is simple: 1. Watch the video. ➡️ https://youtu.be/1DeQVnSxcLk?is=Uos5s8fcMKA3snAM 2. Look at the script for reference. 3. Then, tell me what happened in the story in your own words. Don’t worry about making it perfect. The goal is to practice putting your thoughts together, connecting ideas, and telling a story naturally in English. You can watch my video for reference before you record yours. Pay attention to how I organize the story and connect the events.

Day 31/56 Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
Today’s challenge is a little different: I want you to tell me a joke! This will also help you get ready for tomorrow’s live class with me, where we’re going to use jokes in English to work on vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency in a fun way. The joke I shared in today’s challenge was: Why was the picture sent to jail? Because it was framed. 😂😂😂😂 The joke is funny because “frame” has two meanings. A frame is what you put around a picture, but to frame someone also means to falsely make someone look guilty of a crime. So… the picture was literally framed AND supposedly framed for a crime. 😅 For your challenge, you have a few options: 🎥 Record a video telling the joke and explaining why it’s funny. OR Record a video telling the joke and explain the joke in writing. Make sure you check the script attached to this post for some ideas of what you can say. I also included some recommendations for places where you can find more jokes in English, including Google, YouTube, and even AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini. You can use the prompt from the challenge to find jokes that are short and easy to understand. And remember: don’t worry about finding the “perfect” joke. The goal is to practice your English, have fun, and challenge yourself to explain something in English. I can’t wait to see all your jokes! And I can’t wait to see you all tomorrow for our live session!

Day 28/56 - Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
Good morning, everyone! Today, we’re talking about your biggest dream. It can be the biggest dream you have for your life, or simply something you’re dreaming about right now. Tell us what your dream is, why it matters to you, and, most importantly, what you’re doing to get there. I want you to talk about the steps you’re taking, even if they feel small. I’m really glad to share this challenge with you. This was such a fun video to record, so I hope it’s just as fun for you to do! And I want to say once again how proud I am of every single one of you who has shown up for our classes, completed the challenges, kept practicing, and believed in this challenge from Day 1. You’ve already come so far, and I hope you can see that progress too. Now, I want to hear about your dream. What are you working toward? Let’s do this! See you in the comments
