Thank God the cold dm trend is on its way out… It’s been overused and folks can see through it in a hot second… it gives the vibe that you are only after their money and see them as a number instead of a human 🙄 I have never once gotten a cold dm and went oh this is wonderful let me opt in… it took the rest of the world a “little” longer to catch up, but we have finally arrived to the point of cold DMs like the gurus preach don’t work so well 🙌🏻 So what’s a human to do as an entrepreneur wanting to grow their business and/or following?? Start saying thank you more often… for the “little” things most take for granted. Start conversations with no expectations. Genuinely be curious and treat others the way you would like to be treated 😉 This also helps if you are in the holistic realm or woo woo world and have never had the advice to cold dm sit right in your soul… but expressing gratitude is Absofuckinglutely aligned with your journey! Cause think back to when you got a cold dm that was totally impersonal, how’d you feel?? Save this for the next time your brain has a hissy fit when you think about messaging people you don’t know in real life and if you are over the cold dm BS follow along cause we get into all sorts of fun shenanigans the gurus say won’t work around here 😉
