When does “being practical” become an excuse to stop questioning yourself?
I work in a field where decisions usually need to be practical, measurable, and defensible. That mindset is useful, but I’ve noticed it can quietly spill into the rest of life too. Sometimes “I’m just being realistic” is genuinely wisdom. Other times, I think it can be a very polished way of avoiding uncertainty, discomfort, or change. I’ve been thinking about where that line actually is. How do you personally tell the difference between being grounded and simply becoming too attached to what already feels familiar?

For me, the line is crossed when practicality stops helping me make decisions and starts suppressing a question that keeps coming back despite everything.

But to be honest, I rarely use practicality as an excuse to stop questioning myself. More often, I question myself for so long that I find it difficult to accept a decision I have already made as good enough.😄

Discernment is what we come to constantly
Shout out @Mariana De La Vega i took this from her. Howetherever even at our discussion about Assumptions we get to consciousness and awareness which then leads us to discernment.

And perhaps there’s one more side to discernment 😄

What I strongly oppose is not the majority itself, but blindly following authority and showing a lack of understanding toward people who are different or think differently.
What is your definition of success?
I understand this is different for everyone, but how did you find your definition of success? I see myself having a pretty closed minded view of what success looks like, so I’d love to hear what others define it as.

@Fernando Dito De Jesus I like the idea of seeing success as a journey rather than a final destination. 😊

Another example came to mind. Imagine someone who is told by their doctor that their condition has improved by just 1%. To someone else, 1% might seem insignificant, but to that person it could be a huge success and a source of strength. Perhaps sometimes success isn’t about achieving something extraordinary — it’s simply about moving the boundary, even by just 1%.

Perhaps part of the meaning of life is becoming more and more yourself — getting to know who you are, developing your own understanding of the world, building genuine connections, and staying curious about what we still don’t know.
