1 contribution to Practical Philosophy
When does “being practical” become an excuse to stop questioning yourself?
I work in a field where decisions usually need to be practical, measurable, and defensible. That mindset is useful, but I’ve noticed it can quietly spill into the rest of life too. Sometimes “I’m just being realistic” is genuinely wisdom. Other times, I think it can be a very polished way of avoiding uncertainty, discomfort, or change. I’ve been thinking about where that line actually is. How do you personally tell the difference between being grounded and simply becoming too attached to what already feels familiar?

Life is a two-way journey: you understand my persistence, and I respond to your hopes. The best life is never walked alone.
