Food games and me being a bad trainer 😅
@Alex Lato The first food game with improved near misses was so great after the Kong hand! And then for some reason I decided not to treat her in that second rep. And way too many misses and not enough wins! And then it got worse and worse and I went on for way too long. This is not even the worst reaction, but it does show well how easy it is to lose the enthusiasm when you don't handle well 😅

You are definitely NOT a bad trainer! It takes courage to put yourself out there to get feedback and it will all come together. And none of us are perfect…
First food play session
food play is an area that I haven’t really utilized (which shows in the video 😆) so it feels a bit clumsy! But so much fun, and I can see how this would be a great start for clients that do that feel comfortable with toy play. I feel Snickers is initially not sure about being a bit more pushy with food ( we don’t have this problem with toys)

@Alex Lato thank you ☺️
Food play formula
Thank you so much for food play formula - LOVE it. I am doing something similar (video with Zip I made few years ago), my cue for activation are open hands, but I have not followed this exact structure. Those 6 steps are so clear, thank you again!

This is lovely to watch, the play brings so much joy & energy into the heel work!
Social play 2
Having a toy worked really well! The environment wasn’t ideal, it would be one of the most distracting one for him particularly as we spotted a wallaby 10 min earlier.
