Lacking motivation?
From the survey results and speaking with many students it seems one of the main factors that prevents us from progressing with our Quran amongst many factors is a lack of motivation. Therefore we must address this. How can I stay motivated in learning and memorising the Quran? Everyone is motivated by different things. Some people are inspired when they see a young child lead the people in prayer due to having memorised the entire Quran. Some people are inspired by the beautiful recitation of a specific reciter of the Quran and wish to recite like him/her. Some people are motivated by the hadith which informs us the best of us are those who learn and teach the Quran. Some of us wish to memorise the Quran as an ongoing charity for us after our death especially once that Quran is taught to others and they carry on reciting it after your death. Some of us wish to learn the Quran so we can be role models to our children in reciting and implementing it. You just need to think deeply about your WHY? Let me know some of your WHYs…
