Lesson 1 💬 Discussion Prompt
👉 In your own words, why do you think QA is critical to both the business and the end user?

@Chantal Brown I actually can’t pinpoint just one, I simply don’t remember but I can say that I’ve had many experiences where I’ve filled out applications and gotten all the way through but can’t click the submit button because the page seems stuck. It’s like there’s no way around it, I can’t move it myself and hitting enter doesn’t work either.

@Chantal Brown awe thank you so much! I feel like I’ve been over thinking it. I actually said earlier today that I’ve figured out why I miss out on certain opportunities and it’s not because of the lack of experience or lack of transferable skills but for some reason I’m intimidated by tiles and sometimes job descriptions. I’m not sure why because I’ve done “big” things before but when I see certain jobs it feels like it’s too big for me and it shouldn’t be that way. Anyway- thank you for that real life experience example! That put the field into perspective for me.

Hi! I’m Imari, and I’m looking to get into Tech. My background is mostly in finance (ER billing, A/R roles), healthcare (medical insurance, patient care, and I was in school to be radiologic technologist for a short time) , and customer service (retail, and I am a licensed hairstylist). I’ve gotten two certifications through Coursera and am now looking to expand and completely switch gears.
