Sorry, but don’t think that’s for me, too many other things already in my life at the moment

I am hoping to make it to the LIVE session but with the time difference, I might be too tired. I have identified that I have tons of dressy dresses, but would prob only spend 5% - if even! - of my life on the occasions where I would actually even contemplate wearing them. I spend prob 50% of my life in sports gear of some sort (gym, hikes, dog walk, golf). My work outfit needs to reflect that I am a trustworthy, reliable, caring, conscientious person, but at the same time I'm also a bit arty and creative. I think the creative me has often bought the mad stuff that I then don't wear. I really would like to learn how I can learn that my wardrobe reflects the sporty me, with the work me, and doesn't need 20 dresses that I hardly ever wear.
RAS
Just watched this youtube video on RAS Reticular Activating System It's absolutely brilliant and so true when I think about many "believes" I changed over the years. What I need to challenge is my belief that some people just have style and that I don't. I remember distinctly how I felt in school. I admired the Hippies one day, and dressed up like one in my purple dungarees. The next day, I admired the girls who dressed in the tight leather trousers like Olivia Newton John and wanted to dress like them. I never fitted in anywhere. And every time I tried something, it didn't work, it felt and looked as if I was dressing up (like a Halloween costume!). I never thought of this being a "BELIEF". Just thought, that's just how I am - "not stylish". And that some people just ARE stylish. Still don't know WHAT to do - but willing to learn. Willing to switch on this RAS from now on and finding everything that I need to know to become this stylish old lady I want to be. 😃

I bought this dress here last year snd love how the material is hugging my body. Really such an amazing material that you can hardly feel. But even if we had the weather I’d be very reluctant to wear it in Ireland. Can’t explain why? It’s not really dressy but feels too much for casual.

Sorry I thought I had this one up already - not sure now. Anyway this is a dress I bought in the sale for €15. I think the colours look very dull (although they’re much brighter in this photo), and not sure about the shape. Haven’t worn it very often yet. Dressed it up with earrings, necklace, ring and bracelet.
