Artists goings business: One tool & service. All covered. Worth it?
Some of you here aren’t just making music — you’re also starting to treat your career more like a business. Maybe you’re teaching, selling courses, offering coaching, or simply looking for better ways to promote your music. Usually, that means juggling way too many things: - Emails & newsletters - Social media content scheduling - Websites, demo reels or landing pages - AI chat bots trained on your content - Client pipeline - Scheduling calls or lessons - Taking payments - Managing contacts, fans, or students - Hosting courses or memberships - Automating almost anything available in the system It’s messy. It’s time-consuming. And honestly, it pulls you away from what you actually want to do: making music. šŸ‘‰ Now imagine if there was one single tool that handled all of this. Even better: imagine if you could choose between setting it up yourself or having it done for you with personal support. That’s what I want to ask you today: 1. Would you actually find something like this useful? 2. Would you be willing to pay for it — and if yes, how much (monthly/yearly) for the system? 3. What if there is also a "done for you" service available. I’d love to hear your honest thoughts — drop them in the comments šŸ‘‡

Hi Alex, this is a great idea for those who earn a stable or occasional income. But for this idea to also generate future clients who will loyally join the project at the slightest opportunity, and, importantly, they need to feel the value of the project even before they earn money in the industry. I think it would be a good idea to consider a free version, like you have with AAA and AAR. This idea works very well at ReelCrafter. They have it so carefully organized that as soon as I earn even a little in the industry, I'll immediately upgrade to a paid plan. (Just like with AAR.) And I'm very grateful to them. As am I to you! .
Ingame Track Challenge
Hey guys, here is a new challenge! I tried to set it up like the typical gaming script that you get from game developers but made it a bit more "hardcore". Let's say it's a very picky client but VERY conversational when it comes to questions! The message here is to follow the requirements 100000% but ask if anything is unclear, even though it is the most stupid thing to ask! - Not longer than 1:30 min. Doesn't have to be exactly 1:30 min, a few seconds less is OK - Looped - File format - 48Khz, 24bit wav - Orchestral track in the style of Nobuo Uematsu - Style: 100% Orchestral - Lead melody instrument: String Section - Tempo: mid to fast Scenario: During this part of the game the party of heroes travels through the world via airship. Since the party is travelling very often, we will hear this track quite a few times during a game session. Make sure it sounds fantastic, the mood should support the uplifting and positive feeling of travelling through air. It should also strongly support the feeling of ultimate freedom and should give the player the feeling they can go wherever they want. There is no dialogue while travelling so you are free to play with STRONG melodies. Again, keep in mind that players will hear this track very often, so avoid anything that sounds too annoying, repetive and stressful. We want pure joy and freedom! We don't want the typical background track of 2-3 instruments and solo strings. We want a bit of a fuller arrangement. How you do it, doesn't matter as long as it sounds great and supports the scene! Find a picture attached for inspiration. We need this track by the end of August.

I would really like to participate, but I didn't get past the sketch. I only had yesterday and today for this task. I hope this isn't the last challenge). Good luck to all the guys who finished their work!āœŒļø
Motivation Buddy
Hey everyone, I’m looking for someone from the community to partner up with as a motivation/challenge buddy šŸŽ¶ The idea: We set each other themes or prompts (for example, a soundtrack for a specific mood/scene). Each of us creates something based on it and then we share the results. The goal is to keep each other motivated, push our creativity, and grow together. We force each other to send out emails, connect with new people, work on our mindset, do the courses of Alex (Cause I'm not finished yet) If there's many people interested in this, we can make a group. I'm mostly on Whatsapp or Discord if anyone wants to do it on these platforms. (Please only if you're serious I experienced so many group flops getting inactive) The reason why I wanna do this is so I don't keep getting stuck and I have someone who is pushing me and I'm also pushing them. Cause I'm slowly getting back into it and about the business I would love a friend. I wanna stop being lazy and procrastinating. Not just music, maybe even to cook more, stop being lazy, cleaning the house more and any other chores or tasks the life brings to us. If anyone’s up for this, hit me up šŸ™Œ

The idea is great and I would join too. But why not do it right here? We are already in this community. I don't think Alex would be against it. We can discuss it with him. Or am I wrong? But, I repeat, I like the idea!

We are Alex's students here and I remembered my story. Some time ago I was teaching guitar at my home. And after a while I noticed that several students met and began to actively communicate outside of class. Although everyone continued to come to my lessons. They didn't say anything to me, but I saw it because it became obvious. Cool, I said. And these were my best students. By the way, one of them entered the Institute of Arts. In our city it is a little lower in rank than the Conservatory. Are we the same students? Do we have the same story?
The Breathing Challenge
Hey everyone, I love sweets, pizza, burgers and beer but generally, I am also a big health nerd. The word "drastically" always sounds very aggressive and marketing-ish but if there is anything that seriously drastically has changed my life, it's two things: Cold showering and breathwork This week, I wanted to focus a bit on how to breathe. It may sound weird but if we focus on how we breathe it is most of the time not that deep, not relaxed and not with a lot of attention, ... just always enough to not pass out šŸ˜‚ There is a very specific breathing technique that can change your entire life. Let's get a moment to figure out how it goes as it is very important to understand the specific but simple steps: 1. 30x breathing in an out, not more than 1-2 seconds per breathe 2. After the last breath, hold it for 60 secs or longer. If you can't make it to 60 - that's totally cool 3. Your next breath is a deep inhale, then hold it for 15 seconds 4. Then start again with 1 and do it for a cycle of three times. You can of course stop earlier. Tingeling in your finger, oversaturated of oxygen may happen but it's totally ok. If you have doubts, just do 1. with 10 or 20. ALL FINE! If you are interested in a little guide, Wim Hoff, is THE expert in guiding you through this in one of his videos. PS: This is not some esoteric bs, it does a lot of positive stuff to your body and it's all related to breathing techniques working for more than 3000 years :) It's also one of those videos being worth to read the comments. In case of doubt or if you already have health problems, you may want to check with your doctor. Did it? Tried it? How did you feel afterwards?

I have been practicing meditation for some time. I have not tried breathing yet, but I am thinking about it. I will try it!

@Andrew Hand Finally got some free time to listen to your music. Just started and I will say that it is very cool. Echodrive is everything that I like in American music. Sharks - in addition to the main vocals, interesting backing vocals. Dreamer - I even got goosebumps during the chorus) Dishonored 2 is very dynamic. And I just started listening to this. I will listen more!) I am surprised that there are few subscribers on YouTube. Today is another one!
