Thursday Question ๐Ÿ‘€
How often do you train specifically with your goalkeepers โ€” and what topics do you focus on most? And how do you implement goalkeeper training into your regular team practices? Curious to hear your thoughts โ€“ let me know in the comments below.

So for me, the goalkeepers will get a good training from a goalkeeping specialist once in a week. During the other trainings, I make sure that the things they do also have a learning factor for them, by making them do quik exercises in between the throws of players.

Yeah most of them, the older ones only come to the keeping training and will follow other trainings with their own team! In the younger teams all of them will do the goalkeeping sometimes, so we do some exercises with the whole group
Thursday Question ๐Ÿ‘€
A little follow-up to Mondayโ€™s topic ๐Ÿ‘‡ When you analyse games, do all mistakes have the same importance for you?Or do you focus more on the mistakes that ultimately decide the game? Curious to hear your thoughts โ€“ let me know in the comments below.

They don't have the same importance to me! Mistakes that change the complete course of the game, or lay in the same line as what we are training and coaching on are the ones I look out for and will take with me in evaluation. I do sometimes write down the other mistakes as well so we can use them for later training/coaching themes, but only if its really neccecairy. Otherwise I believe that the game is also learned and made by mistakes and we shouldn't focus on all of them.

@Damir Djukic In case of mistakes we are coaching on, I will name it either directly together with something positive, or later in one of the breaks, so they know what is happening and how they can improve. Other mistakes I will correct in training.

Hee everybody! I'm Ieme, a young handball player, coach and referee from the netherlands. At the moment, I train and coach boys and girls aged 7-12, depending on the day. I'm really curious about insights from other coaches and I want to learn more about handball, athletes and coaching, wich I hope this group will help me with.
