Welina mai! (Welcome!)
Welcome, current and/or future nerds! 🎶 I'm stoked to have you here! Let’s get the ball rolling with some intros: 1. Drop a quick intro below as a comment answering these 3 questions: where are you from, how long have you been playing ʻukulele, and what was your reason for starting this journey? 2. Make a new post showing us your practice space!!! Bonus points for including your ʻukulele 😉

Hi, fellow ‘ukulele nerds! I’m Hilary, and you’ll see me around as I’m Kā’ili’s wife. I live on O'ahu (Hawai'i) with my husband, and I picked up an 'ukulele for the first time almost 2 years ago. I practice as I can (I keep a mango one in my office at work and then have a Kamaka all-koa one that I keep at home)…especially at work. I started playing because I find music soothing when I’m walking through grief or emotional distress, which is essential to my work as a chaplain. Someone close to my husband and I gifted me my Kamaka…and so I play now.
