When do you switch contracts?
When is it time to switch to the December contract on ES and NQ?

@Tony Fonte you can use Trading View - on ES Sept contract, 1 hour chart, hover over a candle bar, and check the volume - volume is shown in the status bar at the top of your chart, and then change contract to December and check the same candle bar for volume - see which is larger of the two.
TradingView vs. NinjaTrader?
Which is best for futures day trading, TradingView or NinjaTrader? I am incorporating order flow analysis not just the price chart. Thoughts....

Hmmm tricky to answer as everyone will have their own preference. I use TradingView for charting, drawing zones, indicators, replay etc as find it user friendly for that. But I execute nearly all of my trades on Ninja Trader as I find this more user friendly to switch between accounts and have an overview of p&l at account level. I use a VWAP indicator on TV which I like, but thats the extent to which I use order flow analysis so im not sure if they offer more in depth info such as DOM or similar. Hope this helps! 🥰
🎯 Friday Fuel-Up: There Is No Finish Line
One of the biggest misconceptions in trading is believing that one day you’ll finally have everything figured out. The perfect strategy. The perfect entries. The perfect mindset. No more mistakes. That day doesn’t exist. Trading is an ongoing journey of learning, adapting, and growing. The market changes. Conditions change. And most importantly, we change. Even experienced traders make mistakes. They take losses. They misread setups. They have moments where emotions get the better of them. The difference is what happens next. 👉 A mistake becomes something to study. 👉 A loss becomes something to learn from. 👉 A difficult stretch becomes an opportunity to grow stronger. 👉 Experience becomes wisdom when you actually reflect on it. Don’t chase perfection. Chase improvement. Try to become a little more patient. A little more disciplined. A little better at managing risk. A little more aware of your emotions than you were yesterday. Those small improvements compound. And remember, never become so experienced that you think you have nothing left to learn. The moment we stop being students of the market is usually the moment the market decides to hand us another lesson. 😅 🚀 You will never be a perfect trader, and you don’t need to be. Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep making adjustments. Every lesson, including the painful ones, is helping shape the trader you’re becoming. — Coach Stephen

I know it's just the first part of a longer journey, but it does feel good! I wanted to give Kyle, the coaches, and many of the group members a shout out for your knowledge, experience and support. Thank You!

Well done!
It might be me.
I have tried the strategy as outlined in the course, but it doesn’t seem so work. I’ve tried with ES and NQ, but it turns into a losing trade more often than not. It might be me, but if it is, I don’t know what to do from here. Been paper trading for about a month and a half.

@Koda Lewis Re logging your trades, your data will be a big part of your key to success – you don’t need to be excessive in the data you log, but do log anything meaningful that impacts your trade. And as Kyle says, the problem is you (gah I find it difficult to be as blunt as Kyle, but he speaks the truth!) so think about paying attention to your state of mind when you’re logging trades – where is your headspace at, did you revenge trade, etc etc. A lot of traders journal their trades too to add a deeper analysis of the decisions made and why they took the trade they did.

I joined Kyle's program in Nov 2022 as I wanted to learn a different way to earn income to support my family and my dreams. I haven't looked back...
