Welcome To UGC WORLD family 🤍 (Start Here)
You made it here, finally!! And the fact that you clicked to join this group instead of bookmarking it for "later" already separates you from 99% of people who will spend the next year doing the exact same thing they did last year and wondering why nothing changed. Warm welcome to the UGC World. I can see that you're really serious about your dream life. I'm Gloria. Two years ago I was crying in a Walmart parking lot wondering if life was just going to feel like this forever. Today I travel the world and get paid to film short videos on my phone for brands. It's called UGC. And it's the easiest skill you can learn in 2026. This community has 16 year olds making an extra $30,000 a year. Moms who quit their retail jobs. Retirees making an extra $150k/year. Nurses, veterans, athletes, actors, comedians, and people from all over the globe who come with an aligned mission to build a remote income from their phone. People who had zero experience with content or business before they started. All of them were exactly where you are right now. Here's your to-do list to get started 👇 Step 1: Introduce yourself in the comments below. Tell us your name, where you're from, and your goal with content and UGC. I read every single one! Step 2: Start going through the classroom here: https://www.skool.com/ugc-world/classroom The best time to start was yesterday. The second best time is right now with whatever you have 🤍 Welcome to the family. Gloria

@Jamie Snell Hi Jamie, welcome to the community! It’s so great to have you here, and I’m excited for you as you start this new journey. Being at the beginning can be both exciting and a little overwhelming, but give yourself time to learn, experiment, and discover what works best for you. You never know where this journey might take you. I’d love to get to know you a little better. What made you decide to give UGC a try, and have you done any content creation before? Also, what are you hoping UGC will help you achieve, whether that’s extra income, a new career, or simply exploring something new?

@Kerishma Ramnath Hi Kerishma, welcome to the community! It’s wonderful to have you here all the way from South Africa. I’m genuinely proud of you for already having a clear goal of breaking into the tech UGC niche. That’s a great direction to explore, especially with how many different technology brands and products are looking for authentic content. I’ve actually been in a similar position where I was interested in so many different brands and wasn’t sure which direction would be the best fit for me. With the right guidance, I was able to understand what suited me, find a clearer path, and start building income online without feeling so overwhelmed. I’m honestly proud of the woman I’m becoming through this journey. The UGC community is here to help you learn, grow, and become more confident throughout your journey. The admin has also assigned a support team to guide and support members as they explore their goals, and having that guidance can make the process much easier when you’re just getting started. Since you’re new, please be careful with anyone who approaches you privately claiming they can help you or asking for money or personal information. Always verify that you’re dealing with the official support team before sharing anything or making any payments. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to connect you with the official support team so they can learn more about your goals, help you explore the tech UGC niche, and guide you through the next steps. I’d also love to know more about you. What part of the tech world interests you the most, and what passion are you hoping to pursue once UGC starts bringing in the income you’re aiming for?
you're a creator waiting to be discovered. discovery is a terrible business model.
there's a version of this business where you film pretty videos and wait. I lived in that version for longer than I want to admit. Good content. Nice lighting. Thoughtful scripts. And a very slow income that never felt predictable because it was entirely dependent on brands finding me, liking what they saw, and deciding to reach out. I was a creator waiting to be discovered. Discovery is a terrible business model. Here's the shift that changed everything. I stopped asking "how do I make better content?" and started asking "what problem does this brand need solved and am I the clearest solution to it?" Different question. Completely different actions. Instead of filming product videos and hoping brands noticed, I started researching specific brands before I pitched them. What were their competitors doing? What content angles were they missing? What was their customer's most common objection and was any of their existing content addressing it? Then I led every pitch with that research. I didn't show up as a creator saying "I make great content, pick me." I showed up as a strategist saying "I noticed your competitor is using testimonial-style content and yours is mostly product-focused. I have a specific angle I think would convert better for your Q4 push. Want to see it?" The response rate changed immediately. What are you researching before you pitch a brand right now? Are you giving them a reason to respond, or just giving them a portfolio and asking them to figure out the fit themselves? Brands have limited time and unlimited creator options. Show up as the answer to a specific problem. The creators who get hired consistently are students of the brands they want to work with.

@Ramita Dogra Absolutely! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the community. Welcome, and I’m excited to have you here! UGC can be such an exciting journey when you give yourself time to learn, experiment, and find your own style. I’d love to get to know you better too. What made you decide to start exploring UGC, and where are you currently in your journey? Have you already created a portfolio or started reaching out to brands, or are you still learning the basics?

@Misty Pastilock That’s amazing to hear! I’m genuinely happy that making that shift started bringing you better results. It shows how powerful it can be when you stop trying to sound like everyone else and start focusing on what the brand actually needs and how you can bring value. Keep going with that approach and don’t be afraid to keep testing, learning, and refining your outreach. Every response, conversation, and opportunity is part of the process. What would you say has been the biggest change you’ve noticed since you started using this approach?

@Pamela Ruggles I completely understand, and I don’t blame you for wanting to make sure you’re speaking with the right people. The reason I shared the support team’s information with you is because they don’t have your contact information, so they wouldn’t know how to reach you directly. You would need to message them first, and once you do, you can let them know that I referred you and explain what you’re looking for. That way, you can also confirm that you’re communicating with the official support team before sharing any personal information. I just want to make sure you feel comfortable and know exactly who you’re talking to.

@Pamela Ruggles I completely understand, and you’re right to be cautious. Please don’t feel pressured to reply to or pay anyone who randomly messages you claiming they can help. For now, just stay active and wait for the support team you contacted. They can guide you through the proper steps and let you know what you actually need to do. I was cautious too when I was getting started, but the support team helped guide me through the process, and that made me feel much more confident. I’m genuinely proud of how far I’ve come and the person I’m becoming through this journey. So don’t be scared or feel pressured to rush anything. Take your time, stay active, and let the proper support guide you. Your safety and peace of mind should always come first.

@Sara J.Rivera Absolutely, it would be great working with you and sharing more ideas about UGC as we continue to grow. I’d also love for you to be specific about the type of content or niche you’re really good at or most comfortable creating, because that will help us focus on the right brands and opportunities together instead of trying to do everything at once. Also, the admin has assigned a support team that helps creators with this process, and they were really helpful to me when I was working on my own portfolio. If you have a strong portfolio that clearly shows what you can create, they can take a look at it and help guide you toward suitable brand opportunities, including opportunities where you can start earning from the types of brands you’re most interested in. If you’re interested, I can connect you with the support team so they can guide you through the process and answer any questions you have. Would you like me to connect you with them?
My UGC stack for staying sane while scaling
When I first started doing UGC, I assumed the hardest part would be coming up with a hook that stops the scroll. Turns out, the real challenge is keeping track of the admin side when you have multiple brands, editors, and deadlines hitting all at once. For a long time, my workflow was a digital mess. I was juggling pitch templates in Notion, raw files in Google Drive, and edits in CapCut. It worked, but I felt like I spent more time managing tabs than actually creating content. I've been refining my setup lately to keep the momentum going: - Notion: Still using this for my pitch templates and outreach stats. - Google Drive: My go-to for asset delivery and storage. - CapCut: Still my main suite for fast edits. - Floment: I added this to my stack to manage daily tasks and project progress. It’s a dedicated workspace for the execution side of things, helping me stay focused on building my pipeline rather than just taking notes. It has been a solid way to keep my creative energy from getting drained by all the admin work. What is the one tool in your stack you absolutely cannot live without when you are managing your active brand deals?

@Steven C. Metzger Absolutely, I’d love that! We’re always open to connecting, sharing ideas, supporting each other, and helping people explore UGC and understand more about what they really want to learn and achieve. I believe we can learn so much from each other as we continue growing. I’m definitely looking forward to being UGC friends and seeing where this journey takes us! What area of UGC are you most interested in learning more about right now?
