5 contributions to Grow Your Skool
Should you run a 7-day Skool Free Trial?
I turned on a 7-day free trial for our Skool group & this happened... Visionaries... I ran a little experiment. I turned on a 7-day free trial for my Skool community. And then I tracked EVERYTHING. Conversion rates. Traffic sources. Month-over-month numbers. What worked. What didn't. And I put it all in a brand new free YouTube video for you. Here's what you're going to discover: ✅ - The #1 highest-converting traffic source into my Skool community {hint: it's not what most people think} ✅ - The exact 3 pinned posts you need set up before you flip on a free trial ✅ - A simple biweekly post that kills churn before it even starts ✅ - How I use DMs + auto-messages to onboard new members on autopilot ✅ - The one course organization mistake that causes free trial members to leave And here's the stat that shocked even me... Once members commit past the free trial? 98% retention rate. That's not a typo. The free trial isn't risky — it's actually a conversion machine when set up correctly. I averaged a 66% free-trial conversion rate across the months I was actively running this. And I'm giving you the full breakdown — no fluff, no pitch — just real numbers and the 3 strategies to use to ensure you have a high free-trial conversion rate to paying client. If you want access to this brand new free training... (about 10 minutes long) Comment, "Skool" down below and I'll send it over via DM. 👇

Skool Keywords Are Here [Have You Seen This?]
Visionaries... big updates from Skool today! Skool keywords are here = ability to be easily found in search = more members Skool keywords are the 11 keywords you give to your community. These keywords help Skool to associate your group with specific topics so that they can recommend you to members who would be a good fit to join your community. Keyword best practices include: ✅ Search terms ideal clients would use to find you ✅ Name of your challenge ✅ Brand name or personal name ✅ Variations of related search terms [Example: One keyword I used was "workshops" but I also added the keyword "Webinar" .... since a lot of people interchange workshops with webinars] Here's how to setup your Skool Keywords: 👉 Step 1: Click on settings [right hand side on desktop] 👉 Step 2: Click on "Discovery" [left hand side] 👉 Step 3: Add in 11 strategic keywords Take massive action in this! It will definitely position you to grow your Skool community faster! -Dino, Your 5'5" workshop marketing mentor. P.S. If you're ready to get daily templates, updates, & strategies to monetize your Skool community with 30-minute workshops, organic social, & tiny $2/day FB ads.... Be sure to checkout the 10 Minute Skool Growth Challenge. You can join on the standard level plan for just $49 for an entire year: https://www.skool.com/mini-workshop-method/about .

I can't wait for this to drop in May.
Are you posting on weekends?
Have you tried posting to your skool community on the weekends? If so... did you get any engagement? I post occasionally to Skool over the weekends but not consistently. Now I want to run a marketing test. For the next 30 days I will post to Skool at least 2x daily including weekends. I want to see if this effects engagement, comments, followers, & members. What do you think the results will be?

I post in my group on the weekends.
Just Flipped on a Free Trial - 5 Trials in 24 hours
Running a quick test on how the free 7 day trial converts vs. our $9 monthly standard tier. For all you Skool community owners you'll want to stay tuned. I'm going to run the numbers of this test and let you know results. What are your predictions? Will the 7-day free trial of our "10 Minute Skool Growth Challenge" work better than going directly to our $9/month offer? Or, will it attract mostly freebie seekers who immediately cancel? No right or wrong guess... I'm just excited to see what the data shows!

I was contemplating doing this just for the weekend, with a special send to my old Facebook group and see who might bite because I haven't had anyone sign up in over a week. However, I also haven't been overly marketing either, just some emails sent out.
