Reiki Practitioner
Your job as a Reiki practitioner is not to heal. Your role is to: - Be present - Be neutral - Be grounded - Allow energy to move without attachment to outcome šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø This is why focus can feel hard sometimes (something you’ve noticed): When your system is clearing or adjusting, your awareness may drift. That’s not failure—that’s energy reorganizing. Reiki does not require: - Concentration - Visualization - Effort It requires availability.

@Sofia Rego I really like how you used the bridge! That’s exactly what I do as well. I offer my clients a ā€˜safe space’ to fully feel empowered with the light that flows within.
How Reiki Affects Your Body Part 2
šŸ’“ Emotional release stored in the body Emotions are not just mental — they live in the body as muscle tension, breathing patterns, and nervous system memory. During Reiki, people may: - feel waves of warmth or tingling - sigh or breathe deeply - feel sadness or relief move through - experience a sense of lightness afterward That’s the body letting go of stored survival patterns. Not dramatic. Just gentle unwinding. šŸ”„ Homeostasis reset Your body is always trying to return to equilibrium. Reiki seems to act like a signal amplifier for that natural intelligence. It doesn’t force anything. It nudges your system toward: • balance • coherence • alignment • efficient energy use Some people feel sleepy afterward. Others feel energized. Both are signs of recalibration. What science can say (without the mystical language) Clinical studies suggest Reiki may: • reduce anxiety • decrease pain perception • improve mood • support recovery after surgery • enhance relaxation comparable to meditation Even if someone views it purely through a neurobiological lens, the relaxation response alone has measurable health benefits. If I had to summarize Reiki in one sentence: šŸ‘‰ It creates the internal conditions where the body remembers how to heal itself. Not magic. Not placebo. Not force. More like tuning an instrument that was already built to play.

How Reiki affects the body Part 1
Sorry guys! I’m out of town and haven’t had time to write. Reiki affects the body less like a medication and more like a nervous system reset. Think of it as shifting your body from stress mode into repair mode — and a lot of physical changes flow from that. Here’s what’s happening physiologically and energetically. 🧠 Nervous system regulation Reiki activates your parasympathetic nervous system — the ā€œrest and digestā€ side. When this turns on: - heart rate slows - breathing deepens - muscles soften - cortisol (stress hormone) drops - blood pressure may decrease Your body moves out of fight-or-flight and into healing mode. This alone explains why people often feel warm, heavy, floaty, or deeply relaxed during a session. 🧬 Cellular repair & energy flow While Reiki isn’t mechanical like massage, practitioners believe it improves biofield coherence — the energetic field surrounding and interpenetrating the body. From a body perspective, relaxation triggers: • improved circulation • better oxygen delivery to tissues • reduced inflammation signals • enhanced immune response • more efficient cellular repair Stress blocks healing. When Reiki lowers stress, the body can finally do what it already knows how to do: restore balance.

How Reiki works
How Reiki Works (Energetically) Everything—body, emotions, thoughts—has a vibrational frequency. Stress, trauma, fear, and suppression create energetic congestion. Reiki works by: - Raising the vibration of the energy field - Restoring natural flow - Supporting the body’s own healing intelligence ✨ Reiki always goes: - Where it is needed most - In the amount needed - At the pace the system can safely integrate

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing practice that works with universal life force energy—the subtle intelligence that animates all living things. Reiki is: - A gentle, non-invasive healing method - Energy guided by intelligence, not force - Accessible to anyone who is attuned - Compatible with medical care, therapy, and spirituality Reiki is not - Religion or belief-based - Mind control or manipulation - Draining to the practitioner - Dependent on intention alone
