Subnetting cheatsheet
Hey, I haven't been reading this a lot since I passed my CCNA, but I just wanted to give the template of the cheapsheet I used for the exam, I like to think I built it myself, but I probably just mixed different cheatsheets I saw during my Network+ studies which is when I learned how to properly subnet I recently got asked to share it somewhere else and thought that it would probably be helpful in here as well * Number of usable IPs ** Wildcard mask octet It seems like a lot, but really you only need to memorize the middle row and the powers of two and the rest kind of comes natural. If you do it once a day and then try and answer questions that require any subnetting you will probably find it very helpful (I did at least) Before starting your examen there is like a demo or something like that, you can use the time allocated for that to write this cheatsheets (I can only talk about the in person exam, I think they don't let you have any kind of paper for the online exam, but I have heard there is some kind of virtual whiteboard, so probably you can do it there). Edit: the bottom row should start with an 8, I made an error.

@Vithuschan Kirupakaran-Eikemper now that you mention it, there is an error! The bottom row should start with an 8 instead of a 9. Other than that the 3 bottom rows help you convert cidr to decimal subnet mask and decimal to cidrquickly
PASSED !!!
It feels like a dream come true, and I can hardly put my happiness into words — now I’ve reached the stage where I’m writing about my exam experience. Today was my exam at a testing center and my experience was full of mixed emotions ! I've been preparing for CCNA for a really long time and the journey has finally come to an end. I'm not gonna give any generic advices since it's all out on in communities and reddit already. But one of THE MOST crucial things during your exam is your time management. I'm from a non-English native country and hence I got 30 mins extra but boy if this time extension wouldn't be allotted to me my scores would've been much worse, I finished with hardly 4-5 minutes to spare even after getting extra time. My only key advice is to manage your time efficiently please ! Otherwise you might get questions wrong even after knowing the correct answer under time pressure. Some exam technicalities - I had 4 labs at the very beginning of the exam followed by 69 total questions. The labs were all familiar and surprisingly i completed all of them (altho i must say it took me 50 minutes just to complete all labs). You should be VERY confident in reading routing tables and choosing what's the best route to a certain destination ip would be. WLC questions were twisted, they covered certain sections of the WLC GUI which i didn't even see before. I hardly got them right. Rest just lab and lab as much as you can and do practice subnetting a lot ! My scores - Automation and Programmability - 60% Network Access - 50% IP connectivity - 88% IP services - 75% Security Fundamentals - 40% Network Fundamentals - 60% My study resources - Neil Andersons's Udemy course (his anki + labs), Boson ExSim, JITL (only videos and labs), CBTNuggets (WLC section), Keith Barker (for areas I was weak in) and lots n lots of chatgpt. To everyone preparing for it - I believe in you, it's not rocket science but yes it takes time. Definitely worth it. Good luck to everyone, much love <3

Congrats! Well deserved!
Passed
Just passed my exam!! As a tip for anyone coming I think the key for me was being able to do subnet calculations very good, there was a lot of questions where you'll finally find the answer by being able to do different subnetting calculations. Keep the work up guys, it'll finally pay off!

@Ojas Sharma I used Neil adams and Jeremys courses, boson ex sin and lots of talking with chatgpt, as I feel like I learn a lot when talking about something rather than try and memorize it, and I don't have anyone around me who knows about networking lol

@Ojas Sharma that's exactly what I did!!! you've got this!!
Revision material
I am doing the exam tomorrow for the first time, I am looking for a good review material if anyone knows of any. Ideally I would like a PDF with the exam topics and a brief explanation over them, but I would take videos as well. Anyone has any good resource?
