Subnetting cheatsheet
Hey, I haven't been reading this a lot since I passed my CCNA, but I just wanted to give the template of the cheapsheet I used for the exam, I like to think I built it myself, but I probably just mixed different cheatsheets I saw during my Network+ studies which is when I learned how to properly subnet I recently got asked to share it somewhere else and thought that it would probably be helpful in here as well
* Number of usable IPs
** Wildcard mask octet
It seems like a lot, but really you only need to memorize the middle row and the powers of two and the rest kind of comes natural. If you do it once a day and then try and answer questions that require any subnetting you will probably find it very helpful (I did at least)
Before starting your examen there is like a demo or something like that, you can use the time allocated for that to write this cheatsheets (I can only talk about the in person exam, I think they don't let you have any kind of paper for the online exam, but I have heard there is some kind of virtual whiteboard, so probably you can do it there).
Edit: the bottom row should start with an 8, I made an error.
