Since September 2024, I have lost 50 pounds. I found out I was prediabetic, 5.7 A1C and my blood pressure was high compared my normal; was 135/75. My normal is 110/60-115/65. My cholesterol was also really high, but I haven’t gotten new lab work done for it. After making a few small changes in my diet, the weight has been coming off. First, I swapped sugar for honey in my coffee. Second, I’m limiting my fast food/processed foods, and sugar consumption. I barely have sweets anymore because too much sugar makes me feel really sick. I’ve also had to reduce higher fat foods, like dairy. Too much fat/dairy makes my stomach very upset and causing additional issues down stream. Sorry if that’s TMI 😂. My physical activity has also increased slightly. I have a lot of projects going on at home, so I’m getting in movement from working on these tasks. So, all of this is proof that even small changes can have major results.
