šŸ† Wednesday Wins
Midweek pause. Here’s the truth: life is hard. For some people, just getting to Wednesday takes everything they’ve got—and that’s okay. This community is here for: - The weeks where you’re grinding and building momentum - And the weeks where showing up is the win A win might be: - You took your first step - You took your 10th step - You trained, planned, or followed through - You got out of bed - You slowed your breathing instead of spiraling - You showed up here when it would’ve been easier to disappear All of it counts. If you need help slowing things down, the breathwork videos live here:šŸ‘‰ https://www.skool.com/thedailygrindclub?c=a2046c83f369409e837b8b325a19ba05&s=best-1m&fl= They’re there to support you—not add pressure. Drop one win below. Big or small.Grinding forward or just holding steady. Some weeks we push. Some weeks we endure. Both are part of the grind.

My big win this week so far has been having this community to keep me focused on getting back to where I want to be. I haven't actually "started", but it's been helpful to know ya'll are here. Thank you!

t is 5:30 PM on a Friday. I could have sworn I hit "Post" on this at 7:00 AM. Turns out, the day grabbed me before I could hit the button. I think that’s fitting. The grind doesn't always go according to schedule. But the message is too important to skip, even if it’s late. Cookie (in the post below) doesn't care about my schedule. She doesn't care that I'm tired. She doesn't care that I'm busy. She just knows: It's time for Dad to come home. I promised I'd introduce you to my crew. This is my why: → Colleen — Together since '97. Now works from home helping me run multiple businesses. She's seen every version of me. (And catches me sweet-talking the dog in 4K). → Spencer — 25 years old. Teaching most of the classes at the academy now. Watching your kid run the mat you built hits different. → Sammi — Graduating college in May. So proud of her. She's my twin. → Cookie — The accountability partner who never lets me skip a day. This is why I grind. Better late than never: Drop a picture of your family or your fur baby in the comments (Today or tomorrow/Saturday). Let's see who you are fighting for. (Check out the video... yes, the voice changes. No judgment. šŸ˜‚)

Thank you, @Jason Reed!! Yes, this is very important to me. I know I'm not too late... but sometimes I worry I am. I don't want to have to worry anymore!
Happy Training Tuesday, Grinders. šŸ’ŖšŸ‹ļø
Quick daily check-in (60 seconds). No perfect answers needed. Yesterday we talked about planning your week to beat decision fatigue.Today, let’s zoom in on training. Two simple questions: - Why do you train? - What does your training week actually look like right now? Your ā€œwhyā€ will change over time—and that’s normal. I’ve been training since 1988, and mine has evolved a lot: - At 11, it was football. - As a teen, it was size and strength. - In my 20s, it was stress relief. - During competition years, it was performance. - Now, it’s about how training makes me feel—clear, grounded, in control. I don’t train to prove anything anymore. I train because I like who I am when I do. Your reason doesn’t have to be deep. It just has to be honest. As for the plan—there’s no perfect split. The best one is the one that fits your life right now. When the plan is decided ahead of time, you don’t negotiate. You execute. And if you’re not training yet, that’s okay. You’re still in the right place. Your turn šŸ‘‡ One or two sentences is plenty. Bullet points count. Pick one (or more): - Why do you train? (Or why do you want to?) - What’s your current training plan? (How many days? Why does it fit your life right now?) - If you’re stuck: what’s the smallest thing you could do this week? This is today’s rep. Show up, log it, move on. LET'S GET IT ON!!

Happy Monday, Grinders. šŸ’Ŗ
Decision fatigue is real. By the time you get to the choices that actually matter—training, food, relationships—you've already spent your best energy on everything else. That's why we plan. Not to be rigid. To be free. When the week is already built, you don't negotiate with yourself. You execute. Here are the 5 questions I use every week. **Answer any (or all) of them in the comments: 1. What exactly do I want this week? (Be specific—not "work out," but when and what.) 2. Why do I want it?** (What's the fuel? Control? Less stress? More time? Something to prove?) 3. Who do I need to be this week? (What energy? What mood? Am I fully present—or scattered?) 4. What will try to get in my way? (Name the obstacles before they surprise you.) 5. When and how will I get it done? (Schedule it. Add an If/Then backup.) --- Don't overthink it. Keep it short. Post your answers below. I'll drop mine in the comments. Let's build the week. šŸ› ļøšŸ”„

1. What exactly do I want this week? to start... again 2. Why do I want it? because the phrase "imagine where you'd be today if you had started a year ago" haunts me... in a good way 3. Who do I need to be this week? grounded 4. What will try to get in my way? business, lack of motivation 5. When and how will I get it done? schedule it - T, W, Th, F, S - stretches, walking, kettle bell swings
