Last week I competed at the Aquatics Great Britain Championships in Sheffield. Most races went pretty well. I won 7 medals, including 5 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. I got Gold in the 50 free (23.93), 50 bk (26.69), 100 bk (57.69), 100 fly (56.87) and 2 IM (2.07.3). 1 silver in the 100 free (52.57); 1 bronze in 50 brst (30.26) and came 7th in the 4IM (4.49.44). All were PBs except for the 4IM and 50 BRST.

With regionals on Saturday and Sunday this weekend, is it better to train on Friday morning with two early starts on Saturday and a Sunday travelling to the venue for 8.00am warm-ups each day, or get an extra two hours of sleep and miss training?

I did 2 free heats and finals, 50 fly heats, 2 free went pretty good, 1.55.5 in heats to a 1.55.6 in finals but tried something different by maxing the 1st 100 (i think it was like a 54 mid), 50 fly was ok (26.3)
