The danger of over-consuming
We live in an age of information obesity. We consume podcasts, newsletters, and videos all day, thinking we are learning. But often, we are just procrastinating. There is a concept called "Input Deprivation." If you consume more content than you create, you clog your mental pipes. You get analysis paralysis because you have too many voices in your head. Try a challenge this week: For every one hour of content you consume, you must do one hour of creation. If you listen to a 30 minute podcast, you owe yourself 30 minutes of writing or building. Balance the equation. You have enough information. You need more execution. How do you balance learning and doing?
