My girlfriend is a muslim
A long time ago a was muslim too but after a while i came into a conclusion that this religion is no where near the truth, so became an atheist, i wanted to tell my muslim gf that iam an atheist and she gotta accept me as iam but iam afraid that she'll leave me and honestly, she treat me right and iam afraid that I'll never be able to experience that again, its heavy to hide this side of me but its even heavier thinking that she will leave me whenever i tell her that, i know its the right thing to tell her but i just can't, i don't know why Its just a cycle of endless pain

@Julian K Islam claims to be that illusion.
Buddhism is deeply introspective, which feels quite intimidating.
I recently got into Buddhism, and I’ve noticed that it’s very self-reflective. It makes me feel like all my actions come back to me, which sometimes leads me to think negatively. Is there any way to prevent that, or is it normal

Slaves of the Flesh or How We Are Voluntary Stupid
Let's be honest for a second. Men are out here -- thinking, breathing, capable of creating and building and asking the big questions about life -- and a huge chunk of us are absolutely fixated on someone's behind. Not in a poetic way. Literally. A body part whose whole job, biologically speaking, is to get rid of waste. Out of everything. That. And the concerning part is nobody really stops to ask why. We just accept it and joke about it because "it's human". Or maybe we're just cowards. Is it solely biological? Is it a distraction from something deeper that we're trying to avoid? Or does it say something more uncomfortable about how we, as men, actually operate? Because if we're being real — we don't know why we're here. We never fully figured that out. And maybe that's exactly the point. Maybe the ass is easier than the answer. So what do you think? Is this just nature? Or a desing flaw?

Wow you finally noticed humans are animals with a thin layer of philosophy painted on top. Congrats You’re not ‘fixated on a body part whose job is waste removal.’ You’re responding to signals tied to reproduction the ass shape and symmetry evolutionary men are attracted as it signals fertility. Now for the deeper questions.. You want to know why you’re here? You’re not Nobody is stop pretending like staring at a women's backsides is somehow ‘avoiding the big answer.’ The big answer doesn’t exist. But a nice butt? That’s real tho humans aren’t profound most of the time we are predictable hungry, horny, scared, curious. Nobody has it figured out and it ain't cuz of that damn booty.

Stop fighting the urge there's no point in fighting with it let it be Just sit and think is this really what you want to do or is it an escape; most likely it's an escape from something uncomfortable like work study etc then make it interesting engaging start with something small study sum u like or love tell ur brain it's for a short time and gradually you will build momentum it's actually easy than you think give it a try also try to keep ur phone in a separate room or away from you or at least turn off notifications. Use a different place and device or account for work and study so u don't get distracted during working. With time u will build the momentum and won't find it hard to study and work for hours it will become natural
