Cbet sizing in 3-bet pots?
A general question about cbet size in 3-bet pots. What are your typical cbet sizes OTF on different board textures IP and/or OOP after 3-betting preflop (100BB effective)? For instance when the flop is: 1) Unpaired dry / dynamic 2) Paired dry / dynamic 3) Straight dry / dynamic 4) Monotone

@W P So the sizing does not depend on whether the board is dry or dynamic? What are the main factors when you are choosing between 1/2 pot and pot on unpaired boards?
Too optimistic on the turn?
https://www.pokerstarsreplayer.com/hands/7f2b560c6b The EP is (vpip/prf/3-bet): 27 / 20 / 5 (302 hands). Probably no positional awareness, when it comes to RFI ranges. Preflop & OTF: quite standard? OTT: I think 7 is not good for my range, but I keep betting to extract value from broadway-pair hands (which I think form a large share of EP's range here). Then the EP decided to jam! I have 4 and 6 blockers. More importantly I unblock the ace of spades. To call it’s about 1 to 3, but am I often enough good to call here in general? I think if I had the As I would have folded. Did I kind of expose myself to a good bluff as it is quite likely that I do not have 7 in this spot? What do you guys think: should I have check-called or even check-folded the turn? And as played would you have called or folded?

@David E true. Although I have understood that (especially at micros) in HU pot where is a good change that the other 4-bets, is better to deviate and 3-bet all AAxx.

@David E Is a pot size standard here? My idea here was to size it down a little bit to keep the overpairs with me.
Easy fold?
https://gg.gl/v8qm4 Don't know much about my opponent, recreational player, VPIP 40, don't mind limping and see many flops. I mean he's never bluffing here and I beat nothing of his value range.

What a tough spot! But it's really difficult to imagine they would nearly ever have bluffs there. After betting on the turn and bet & re-raise on the river I would think they are very likely to show quads or straight flush. Or well maybe some crazy move with Jc and 7 blockers :)

@Mark Struzynski I would guess that many players aren’t willing to bluff their stack off this deep, at least not me =). Still 200bb deep on the river.
Single raised pot: Turn AA into a bluff OTR
https://www.pokerstarsreplayer.com/hands/cad8022662 The SB: (vpip/prf/3bet/hands): 28 / 18 / 8 / 329 and about 10% 3-bet from SB. Plays quite straightforwardly in general. Can and do fold hands when facing aggression. On the flop the SB check-call my cbet and lead on the turn with 70% of the pot. Turn completes one straight and brings a FD. What to think about the villain’s line here? I have the top two with a future nut flush blocker, and call. Is there any value to raise here? The river completes the flush (and more straights), and SB checks. I think there is a big chance that I’m no good here, so I turned my hand into a bluff with the nutflush blocker. (I’m sure I meant to bet the pot but again it seems I did bet a bit less!) After a long tank SB folds. What do you guys think about the play on the river (or flop/turn)?

@Eric M Thanks for the detailed comment! What’s your take on SB’s line with this type of board in general: check-call OTF, then lead the turn for about 70% pot and check OTR?
3-bet pot: Out of line or not?
The main villain: (vpip/prf/3bet/hands): 28 / 18 / 8 / 329 and about 3% 3bet from BB. Seems to play quite straightforwardly in general. Maybe a bit NITish / weakish when facing aggression. Importantly can and do fold hands. https://www.pokerstarsreplayer.com/hands/c6b3cfee5a Preflop: The 3-bet frequency indicates that the BB’s range is very AA-heavy here (3bet from BB about 3%), although the sample size is not huge. Flop: Should he have checked his entire range here? I think he does not have many strong hands here (some AA with wheel/mid sidecards or with low pairs), whereas my/our ranges include more rundowns/gappers and double pairs etc. hitting that texture. To me villain’s bet sizing felt like a scared bet hoping to take down the pot and/or prepared to give up (or more unlikely trying to extract value from KKxx etc.). Anyways, with BDFD, two overpairs and the short stack behind me, I call. Would there be any point to raise here with anything? Turn: Now, just the two of us left, and he checks (SPR ~ 0.8). Given the flop action, and that the guy usually plays straightforward and do know where the fold button is, I considered this was a good spot to jam (although I guess it would have been nice to also have some blockers). I think AAxx forms a large share of his range here, but it would be difficult to call with bare AA as he is very often drawing thin or dead. What do you guys think about the turn play? Should I have instead checked behind? If so, how would you have proceeded on different rivers (e.g., pairing/middle/high) against small bet, larger bet or check?

Thanks @David E and @Robin Portnoff! Yep, I guess I was too focused on the 3-bettor and didn’t pay enough attention to the fact that we are multiway and the short stack may often jam.
