Josh and I chased Faye (and each other) around in the snow in our backyard this weekend. I'm so pumped that we finally had some significant accumulation!! Did you guys get out this weekend?

Meal Prepping!
Here we go again. I prepped and froze all the veggies for our dinners this week and I've got a big crock pot full of split pea soup ready to cook overnight for lunches. How are you guys getting ready for the week?

Since we'll be traveling up until the day before I start work this coming Monday, I've already prepped food in the freezer that I can toss in the crock pot so we don't have to worry about food when we get back. Making sure you're prepared with healthy food is a great way to stay on track with your nutrition! How are you going to prep for the new year?

@Meg Lovell I love this!! I usually prep for the whole week but depending on the meal I get bored by Thursday or Friday. It's a great idea to prep something else for that eventuality!
CHILLI
Cold weather means hot meals. And chilli is one of my favorites, because it's so easy to make it healthy, interesting to the pallate, and chock full of protein. There's literally endless varieties of chilli, but I like to make mine with ground beef, three different types of beans and diced tomatoes. Takes 15 minutes, tastes great, and is so satisfying.
