I went to Hawaii expecting to learn about new resorts, cruise lines, destinations, and travel opportunities for my clients. And don’t get me wrong…I did all of that. But what I came home with was so much more. Over the course of our annual convention, I listened to dozens of leaders share the stories behind their success. Some spoke in English. Some spoke in Spanish. Some laughed. Some cried. I expected to hear about sales. Instead, I heard about courage. About motherhood. About losing everything and starting over. About believing in yourself before anyone else does. About serving others. About choosing gratitude over fear. I filled pages of notes, not because I wanted to remember what they achieved, but because I wanted to remember who they became. So over the next several weeks, I’d love to share some of the lessons that stayed with me long after I unpacked my suitcase.
