I’m in the US and just found this group and hope it will help me better retain what I’ve learned so far (which isn’t a lot 🤣). I have always been interested in Japanese culture but a couple of years ago with my children’s recommendations I started watching anime and then later reading manga and light novels. I would like to one day watch without needing subtitles and maybe read a book before the English translation.

And I love Japanese literature, such as Kokoro by Natsume Soseki. Have you read any Japanese novels? I also really enjoyed Cowboy Bebop when it came out! Not the live action Netflix version!
