WE HAVE A WINNER!!!
The phrase that got the most love in Round 1 was: “I said I played guitar, I didn’t say I played well.” So… we went ahead and had a design made for it 👀🔥 Before we move forward with production, I want REAL feedback from the community: ✅ Is this something you would actually buy and wear proudly? ✅ What do you think of the overall design? ✅ Should we change the font style or colors? ✅ What do you think about the guitar choice? For the guitar, we went with a Stevie Ray Vaughan / Hendrix-style Fender Strat vibe 🎸 Don’t hold back either...honest feedback helps us make these designs WAY better before launch 🙌

To be honest, my first choice was "Time Spent With Guitars and Dogs is Never Wasted" but I changed it because I know not everybody owns a dog, so I'm more likely to buy that one. L The reason I voted for the winner is because I think more guitarists would relate to it; however, I play professionally, so I personally wouldn't be likely to wear that one. I don't want to give potential clients a negative impression of me.
Stevie Rays Guitar
many moons ago, a friend of mine in Nashville was house sitting for another friend who had an immense guitar collection. I got to play one of Stevie Rays guitars. i couldnt really play it though, because of the heavy gauge strings that he used

I can't even play like SRV on my own guitar. Guess I'll have to try a few different string gauges. LOL

stringjoy Balanced Ultra Light Signatures 7-38
well, stringjoy has just started advertising a new string. Balanced Ultra Light Signatures 7-38. dont know about anyone else, .008's are light enough i would think. i cant imagine playing a .007 . i think staying in tune and breakage would be an issue. but i could be wrong. im used to playing and bending 13's. is this a string any of you all would be interested in?? Orianthi maybe. LOL

I tried Stringjoys. Their durability didn't justify the price for me. I use D'Addario Light phosphor bronze on my acoustics. 12 - 53 gauge. For my electrics, I use Ernie Ball 10 - 46. Anything lighter takes away something in the tone that I need to hear. I also find that a more flexible pick adds to the life of your strings. Mine are Duncan 60 or 70mm, gray, made of a flexible nylon.
