This was our second live-stream training session for our Confetti Dogs Learning Community. Today's session was with one of my dogs, Nova. We worked on reviewing some "relational obedience" with some highly intentional DURATION, DISTANCE, & DISTRACTION scaffolding, off-leash recall review, mixing "play," obedience, and nose work (at the end), etc... Lots of fun!

If you are a new member, I'm so glad you are here and I'm really looking forward to using this platform in some pretty creative and hopefully productive ways that will benefit all of the members here. Very excited to be in this group. My pup Lola got some early training from John. Well I got the training. He really helped me understand my pup. As for my question, we have her off leash in my yard here in Vermont. We have neighbors visit frequently. Our Lola is very nice, but she does jump to say hi more than I’d like. I tell folks to turn around when she does that, but they don’t always do it. She has an e-collar on while she is in the yard, but wouldn’t and to give her even a little shock when she is showing love. Any suggestions? I’d also like to work on off leash healing. Thanks again for this platform. :)
