In this live-stream training I'm working with my German Shepherd Nova in a backyard & front-yard training session on a few different things... 1. Review of some RADDD PROGRESSIONS with her relational obedience commands (PLACE, SIT, DOWN, "PORCH") working on "holding duration" of commands, being out of her sight, long distances, some distractions, NOT using the word STAY, but reviewing an "implied stay", etc... 2. Different ways of giving rewards and what the timing, tonality, and energy might look like...discussing and demonstrating the idea of "REWARD EVENTS" (vs. click-treat-click-treat-click-treat, etc.) 3. Examples of how to develop PLAY SESSIONS to get the most fulfillment, confidence, and learning from PLAY. 4. Basic herding commands: We reviewed her "Come By" command (clockwise around the "sheep") which she is pretty good at...but we also reintroduced her to the "Away" or "Away to me" command (counter clockwise around the "sheep"). This was our second live-stream training session for our Confetti Dogs Learning Community. Today's session was with one of my dogs, Nova. We worked on reviewing some "relational obedience" with some highly intentional DURATION, DISTANCE, & DISTRACTION scaffolding, off-leash recall review, mixing "play," obedience, and nose work (at the end), etc... Lots of fun!

In this live-streamed training session, I worked with my newer dog...an Australian Cattle Dog named Rip. He is fairly new to us, so a lot of what we worked on was pretty new to him. We worked on crate exits, door exits, RA.D.D.D. Progressions w/ Relational Obedience, etc... ENJOY!
