@Paulo Costa, The Roaster I didn't see that yet - I'm out of the loop a bit, so need to get back up to speed! I've been wondering about Pinterest but probably don't know enough about it!
⛳ Sell without selling
This is a pitching exercise. Check all the others here. You can engage with them anytime. Imagine you're a pro salesman, going on a golf club full of rich people, trying to network and get them to hire you. You won't just come shouting what you do. You will develop small talk, say something personal, something interesting about you. Ask questions, let them talk about themselves. Let them complain about a problem that you can solve. Only after they gain your trust, you talk about what you do. And you make them think that it was their idea to hire you to solve their problems. How would you start that conversation? Asking a question? Sharing some fact that starts a conversation about a problem you can solve? Do that here. Try to start a conversation that can lead you to talk about what you do and make people want to keep talking to you about it. I'll engage with it like I'm your ideal client.

@Eliana Barosco Ha - yeah, I get what you mean about the DIY vs paying so much for people to do it! That's awesome - it is amazing what we can achieve when we commit the time to it - and it is amazing to see the progress physically - in a way that you can't see in the digital world!

@Eliana Barosco I like to try - sometimes I need to pay because I don't have the time but it is much more rewarding to do it ourselves!
Poll Monday - what helps you build momentum?
I'm changing the first things that people do when they join my community, and I'd like to know a little about what helps you to build momentum early when you join a community...!

@Aimee Jardon - sorry for the delay. I really enjoyed reading through all your responses on each of the options. I laughed at the onboarding call that just took you round all the things you'd already seen... I've had a couple of onboarding calls that were actually just pitches! That annoyed me a lot! Yeah, connection and clarity - the start of a long collaboration - key to good a good onboarding call!
New Roaster of the Week rule
Now you can win Roaster of the Week once every month, instead of every 2 weeks. I noticed that some people feel bad by winning too much and take it slow on roasts after winning once. Some even ask to not win in order to give a chance to other people and that's very noble. So now there will be four winners for each month, and at the end of the month I'll make a post giving a shoutout to each winner. And if you don't want to get a free pinned post ad for whatever reason, feel free to let me know in the DMs. The rules for second pinned post stay the same, just keep yourself at the top of 7 da leaderboards. Let's roast!

I like this - nice change - I need to get back to roasting but it was a thought I had too - strange to be back on after a week!

I'm definitely in the field of not paying for any tech - but I've paid for a few things recently, skool and a Microsoft subscription!

@Karin Crawford I spent so long using powerpoint and excel in my corporate jobs that I felt lost without it ha - and I'm much faster and in control when I'm using those.
