Merry Christmas, everyone! 🎄
I finally found enough signal to send this out! We’ve been spending Christmas week deep in my wife’s village where there is absolutely no cell service or internet. It’s been amazing to completely unplug, and I was even able to bring my mum along for the trip. I’m posting a few photos of our time off the grid below. Now that I’m reconnected... what is everyone doing for their Christmas?

Merry Christmas Brett! 🎄
Headed to Hanoi next week. What’s the one thing locals eat or drink every day that most tourists overlook?
I already read about pho, banh mi, and egg coffee. What’s your hidden everyday favorite? Thanks!

For the food, banh mi, pho, and this rice with gargrilled chicken or pork (don't remember the name). But anyways, the food in Vietnam is 10/10 anyways! BTW, If you go to the town square, there's a lady that sells beer straight from the keg. Super fresh!
What's the ONE thing you can't go without?
This week I spent 3 days hunting for a new office chair... Went to like 5 different stores in Chiang Mai. Tried every single one. For me my office chair isn't just "a nice to have." It's absolutely ESSENTIAL because my back is so fucked. That said... It did make me wonder... What is the one thing that as a digital nomad you can not live without? Is it a specific piece of gear? Your noise-canceling headphones? An external keyboard you swear by? Let us know in the comments 👇

@Brett Dev nope, but I will. They are pretty lightweight

@Karen Oliver you don't need a 24" monitor. My recommendation is for you to get a second portable screen, same size like your laptop screen for consistency. Those portable screens are very lightweight and you can carry it in a laptop bag
Why are so many people failing online?
Because they're following advice from gurus who don't know shit about their situation. "Sell high ticket!" "Just charge more!" "Do it this way!" That advice doesn't always work. Yet people follow it blindly like sheep. Then wonder why they're broke.

People fail online for a bunch of reasons -They don't have a clear goal and want to just make more -Unrealistic expectations -Shiny object syndrome -Failure to commit -Giving up too quickly -Listening to bad advice -Buying courses from gurus And lot more. The list is endless
You're not allowed to vlog in England anymore... 🤡
Found this CRAZY video in my feed today. Some dude's filming in my hometown (Southend of all places) and gets TOTALLY HARASSED by these "community officers" for taking pictures. WTF?? The guy's snapping some pics of pigeons and buildings... Next thing you know, these wannabe cops are following him around demanding ID. Made me remember EXACTLY why I left the place. What a shit hole the UK has become.

I thought UK was a dystopia 10 years ago when I moved here. But apparently now people are getting arrested for Facebook posts. Scary. As long I'm here, I'm trying to not let it affect me. I'm not British but I understand the frustration and I feel for English people.
