🧩 What’s the Strangest Project You’ve Made? (Win $100 Gift Card!)
Not every build is a table, chair, or cabinet. Sometimes we take on projects that are a little unusual, a little personal, or just different from the everyday shop work. Maybe it was a custom jig, a quirky piece of furniture, or something you built that surprised even you when it was done. Share the most unusual project you’ve made — and what made it different — in the comments below! 🏆 Prize: $100 Sawinery Gift Card (aka guilt-free tool money 😉) 📅 Winner announced on September 29!

I made a one-piece solid Oak napkin holder with a yo-yo shaped weight that shows special grain views as you rotate it.
📐What's Your Largest Project Yet? (Win $100 Gift Card!)
Every woodworker has that one project that really pushed the limits — maybe it was the biggest piece you’ve ever tackled, the heaviest to move, or the one that took up every inch of your shop space. Tell us about the largest project you’ve made in the comments! 🛠️ Prize: $100 Sawinery Gift Card (aka more tool money without the guilt 😉) 📅 Winner announced on September 12!

I built this gable roof for my shop doors. I built it inside the shop, and then we lifted it up on its supports.
How to Remove Glue From Wood Without Damaging the Wood
One of the biggest problems with doing edge-glued panels is glue cleanup. Some people wipe the wet glue off with a damp rag. That works, but can push the glue into the wood's pores, causing finishing problems. Others wait until the glue dries and scrape it off. That's usually harder to do; but eliminates the finishing problem. I've come up with a better way to remove that dried-on glue. Check out this video to see my new Ergonomic Glue Remover tool.
