Community Gold - Celebrating Virtue ❤️🔥🎉
This response was written by @Greg Moran and I wanted to share it with you because it was such a powerful reflection. If you feel inspired, please read and drop some love. This was in response to a question by @Meg Bee about the nature of cultivating a practice that allows us to maintain a peak experience whenever we drop into rituals “ We live in a world that constantly seeks peak experiences. While peak experiences can be powerful, they are often there to show you the potential of what is possible with this specific modality/practice. Just like a love relationship, it is fireworks at the beginning and the passion feels so alive, then it begins to level out. It's usually at this point that the shadows (the blockages you have to truly being present and connected in the moment) will begin to appear. Many will rush off to the next practice/event/experience. Some will stay but be unhappy, abandoning their true selves in the process. And some will accept the ever-changing states and learn to embrace the practice/experience in all its seasons, seeking to connect even deeper through devotion even in the most seemingly mundane experiences. In my own experience, peak experiences are amazing! But where the real gold lives is in finding the peaks in the mundane through consistency of practice, consistency of devotion, consistency of inner presence. This, I believe, is the journey and the opportunity all of us in this Earth-plane are tasked with, and what a gift it can be.” - @Greg Moran I often will be celebrating beautiful gems like these that I come across, because it is reflections like this that makes me so proud and astonished every day to be surrounded by people like you.
