So couple of weeks ago, I used flash in my photoshoot. Here are 2 results from that session. I only used flash for the audience. Believe me or not but whenever there is another photographer working with you and if they see flash going off they might wanna throw brick at you (jk) Anyway here is the thing, if you are doing photoshoot do not hesitate to use long exposure. It might not turn out well but if it does, you will be trying to get those alot. Now, i have been doing long exposure most of the time so I like it and I can say out of 20, 2/3 will come out good. But you will love it. Sometimes I find it difficult because you are in the same position just moving your hand back and forth. Weird but trust the process. And 3rd photo has also helped me to win small award. However, that was 1 best out of 47. Thank you reading this long rant. Enjoy shooting. P.s: if you are shooting for a dj or club flash is allowed

i shot these at a festival last week (before i joined this community) of a local band from singapore (shirlyn and the unXpected) and this was the first time i took photos at a concert with my camera (i used to just take concert photos on my phone). i feel like the photos were decent, but i can't seem to get the colorgrading right on some photos.... please leave a comment if you guys have anything to say about them! i also tried cropping some photos to see if i could get a cinematic feel lol

Hi, my name is Grazi! I'm brazilian but based in Portugal. I'm a software developer but I am a music lover. Ever since I moved to Europe I became a concert rat, following my favorite bands in some countries, always tried to be on the front row, collected souvenirs like setlists, guitar picks... sometimes I even went to like 3 or 4 concerts of the same band on the same tour (!!!). But something started to catch my eye while being in the front pit, the photographers! I always wanted to work with something related to music, but also in a way to involve in my local community and support smaller venues, friend's band and other smaller artists, that's how I started. My first camera is a Canon EOS RP, I use with a 50mm f1/8 lens, I've been mostly capturing the local venue but I started to ask for some passes in different concerts as well, my favorite thing so far it's getting feedback from bands and how happy they are when someone do this work.
