I did this head last night as almost a paint along by using one of your refs. I feel like my values might be a bit choppy, with there being a little too much variation/darks in the light half of the head. Also really want to start bringing the backgrounds into my paintings more, I love the way you play the darks in the back against the lights on the face.

Hey Kai, I really apprecate you starting this group! I have just gone back over your awesome Sentient course on drawing fundamentals and have been learning a ton! I normally paint landscapes/environments and lately, I've been working on my portraits and figures. Thanks again and looking foreward to learning all I can here!
