@Chontelle Hall it works so well! Also iridescent chromes if your painting snowglobes give the glassy round illusion

Yes! I made NFT keyrings with my logo sticker on them, like a digital business card👌🏼😍 took ages to write the nft on each one but they turned out so good
The great efile debate..?
This may be an unpopular opinion but….. If you cant compete your services without an efile.. you probably shouldn’t be using an efile. There i said it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ but why ? Because the fundamentals of filing are all there in hand filing. Yes efiles are amazing, they can speed up a service and refine, but what do you do when your efile breaks ? Or you have a client who prefers not to have an efile used? Or is unable to tolerate an efile? The client in this video is experiencing issues with some of her medication and its not only causing ridges in her nails but making them incredibly sensitive at the moment, we thought they may have been sensitive from possibly being knocked so we chose to remove her old set completely to check her nails health, but after removing the set to check we found no damage, but her ridging had returned after some recent medication changes, (of which we knew could cause the ridging and sensitivity) So i did a full builder gel removal by hand, no debulking with an efile, all hand filing to debulk and soaking, then all prep work and fresh set completed with no efile. -There are a few situations you may find you cant use an efile, maybe it breaks and you haven’t got a spare? Maybe the client doesn’t like it, but also if you are having issues with prep, finish filing etc, it can be really good to go back to basics and file manually, -a hand file for finish filing your gel or other enhancement will give you the most control over your surface -an efile will roll over it but a hand file stays flat, this gives you a clear indication of any high or hollow points allowing you to check the surface and ensure a smooth finish, Dont get me wrong i looove my efile, but i also love hand filing! And i think its good every now and then to go back to the hand file to check in with yourself and your filing techniques, because you cannot solely rely on an efile, XOXO

@Nicky MacLean im not sure exactly what it was but its for her thyroid, she just hates taking it😆 when she takes it her nails are fine but when she doesn’t she gets all sorts of issues and she was fuckn around with only taking half as much for ages and i had been asking her was she taking them (shes my besties mum so basically my mum so i give her shit sometimes 😆) cause my bestie was saying she didn’t think she was cause she was loopy lately, but she finally said nah she had only been taking one every 2-3 days not every day(but admitted she was forgetting to even do that) cause she thought she didnt need it anymore and then she finally realised she did, but now she has to let it resettle and get back level so it was messing with her all over 😩 she gets the ridging when she isnt taking it and heaps of lifting but when she takes it regularly shes fine so i already thought she hadnt been taking it for quite a while cause the issues were back, but the back to full dose was making her tired and achey and all sorts.

Yay! Glad it helps! Yesss hand filing really does allow you a better look at what you are doing and focus on areas that need additional filing👌
Practice makes perfect
I just had some sets from last year pop up In my memories so i thought i would do a little now vs then, In this fabulous world of social media we see the end product alot but not the true process to get there, or all the hard work and time spent to achieve it, So heres a little comparison for you -⬇️⬇️ 1st photo:pumpkin/stitching halloween 1 year ago 2nd photo: isolated chrome 1 year ago 3rd photo: pumpkin/ stitching Halloween - recent 4th photo: isolated chrome and pumpkins - recent 5th photo: isolated chrome - recent Good things take time- and alot of work! The more you do of it the better you get, you will pick up alot from tutorials, classes etc along the way but it will still take time to get there, you will find products that suit you more than others, and you will develop your own techniques and style 💚 And we all have off days, days where the chrome just isnt chroming, noone is 1000% perfect all the time (although we wish we were) and you never see even in tutorials, how many times it was wiped off and done again to get the final image you see So for anyone wondering why others work is crisp/ fineline/ detailed and defined etc and they just cant quite get it- just keep trying 💚 it will happen I will pop in the comments the adjustments that i made to each set to upgrade my art 💚 And feel free to add your own now vs thens x XOXO Gracie Milkshake studio

Specifically for the chrome frame around ghost, Chrome as above but cured the frame then went back in and added raised dots , this can be done before applying chrome to chrome gel- or you can chrome over, then add a second layer of chrome gel - either way you will get texture and layers to your chrome designs

📏 Nail Length and Breakage
Do you believe natural nails are stronger kept shorter, or does length not really matter if they’re healthy?

I like the thirds rule for this! The shorter the nail bed, the less length of enhancement it will be able to hold, so i would never go sticking an xl extension on a bitten nail! But theres so many factors too - weak nails with long nailbeds still wont hold a super long extension etc
