@Gurpreet Gill Hi,, I’m applying for a Track and Trace role and my interview is on May 25 at 1:30 PM Central Time. I tried searching YouTube for tutorials, but I mostly found general dispatching videos, not specific Track and Trace workflows. From what I understand, this role is more focused on monitoring loads in real time, updating tracking data, communicating with carriers/drivers, and reporting delays or issues. Can you help me understand the usual step-by-step workflow and what questions they might ask in the interview? 1.What systems or tools are commonly used for tracking loads, updating notes, and communicating with carriers? 2.How is Track and Trace different from dispatching, and what should I avoid saying in the interview?

Most Important Skill Before Handling Real Loads
Hi everyone! I’m still learning dispatching and Freight VA basics. One thing I’m realizing is that watching lessons is different from actually being ready to do the work. For those with experience, what skill do you think beginners should practice the most before applying? I’m asking because I want to focus on the skills that matter most in real daily operations, not just memorize terms.

👋 Hi, I’m Grace! Hi, my name is Grace I live in Cavite City, Philippines, and I plan on making $5,000 per month dispatching trucks. I want to get these 3 things from this course/community: 1. Learn how to find and evaluate good loads properly. 2. Understand dispatching workflows, broker communication, RPM, deadhead, and track & trace. 3. Gain confidence, improve my skills, and connect with people in the trucking industry. For fun, I like to do these not just 3 but 4 things 1. Create content and design graphics. 2. Learn new online skills.( about Truck Dispatching,Freight Courses,) 3. Writing songs, creating melodies, and jamming with my family. 😊 4. I also love baking, especially cookies and brownies, because they’re my family’s favorites. What do you love doing when you’re not working? Just a fun question to know everyone outside of dispatching. What’s your favorite way to relax?

@Carla Mitchell That makes sense, Carla. I think that’s a smart move too, to finish the course first and make sure you understand the process before trying to book a load. I’m doing the same right now, just taking it step by step. 😊

Hi @Larrietta Holmes Welcome to the community. Last January, I saw a Facebook ad about a 3-day Freight Logistics 101 course. They had good reviews, and some students said they got clients after finishing the course. That made me interested because freight dispatching seemed like a niche that was not too saturated yet here in the Philippines. So I decided to learn more about it.
I just want to share something.
Last January, I took a 3-day Freight 101 course and learned some basics. But after joining this community yesterday and watching the lessons, I can say this free course feels different and really worth it. I’m already on Lesson 4, and I really appreciate the information @Gurpreet Gill is sharing. I’ve been watching his YouTube videos since January, but I didn’t know he had a community like this. I’m happy I found this group. Everything we need to learn is here. We just have to take action.
I just want to share something.
