Recovering From Sickness
Hey everyone, the past few days I have came down with a gnarly sickness. I am visiting family I swear my niece and nephew will just walk up and cough directly in your face hahaha. Bad news is I am moving pretty slow these days, I bought a ton of meds and am resting up. I think I will be better soon. In the meantime I am moving our weekly call to Sunday (update), apologies for the last minute change. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the call and I will be circling back to everyones DMs today as well. I know by Sunday I will be fully recovered as well as will have some major updates and resources for everyone

I created my own GPT in the past week to re-write my resume and create a cover letter based on the job description.

@Ari Dimayacyac I’m still fine-tuning the process but I’ll update after I send out 100 applications!
Resume Revamp With Austin
What's up, everyone! Hope you are having a fantastic weekend wherever you may be in the World. 😁 I just want to throw this info out there. Since the revamp resume that I had and that we did on a call almost a month ago, I have done 1 interview, and I have 2 scheduled interviews for next week. The new template has been giving me better hits. Letting you all know to utilize the template that Austin has revamped for me. Small wins, right?

Job Applications during Holiday Season
I recall during the previous community call that Austin mentioned that most companies implement a hiring/interview freeze during December. I was considering purchasing a premium version of a job application autofiller just for the Thanksgiving week, as work will be pretty slow, but I'm having second thoughts. Even the company I work for will have hiring/interview freezes as the holidays approach and most people will be on vacation. Since were already in the latter half of November, is it still worthwhile to submit applications? In my case, should I still purchase the premium version of the job app autofiller?

@Christopher Tech Sales I am actually looking to use the premium version of this and see how it goes. I’m currently using the free version as well!

@Christopher Tech Sales mostly for the resume tailoring and the AI response writer. I feel like I can get more hits if it can include more keywords for me.
Methods of getting interviews
For LinkedIn search your desired job title in the search bar. Click on the jobs tab filter for jobs posted in the last 24hrs and filter for remote jobs. I would avoid applying for jobs that have over 100 applicants. This has worked for me recently and I've been able to get interviews without any outreach. Also apollo.io is good for email outreach. You can set up a multi touch email sequence. I find it better to send a custom email first then if you don't get a response in 24 hours put them on a 3 email sequence.

100% agree! I got insight from my manager at my current role that they start from the candidates that applied first. It’ll be difficult getting an interview when there’s 100+ people ahead of you.
