Do you need help
It doesn’t matter what weightloss path we are taking. We have to deal with our eating habit first. Most overweight people do not eat just because they are hungry. We eat because we are bored, upset or celebrating. Not because we are hungry and not being able to stop when we are full. This often requires professional help. I can offer this help Please feel free to message me.

BMI
The criteria for weightloss surgery is based on BMI and health issues relating to obesity. BMI is calculated by hieght and weight. 18.5 is underweight. 18.5 to 24.9 is a healthy weight. 25 to 29.9 is overweight. 30 to 39.9 is obese. 40 and over is severely obese. Being in the severly obese range qualifies you for weightloss surgery. BMI of 35 qualifies you if you have health issues related to obesity. You may be accepted below these thresholds as some clinics and surgeons have a lower criteria acceptance.

Why l do what l do
Why l do what you do: I do what you do because, like many people, l have internalised messages — subtle and loud — from society, media, and even people close to me. Throw away comments. These messages say: "Your body is a measure of your worth." So l anticipated judgment. I’d prepare for it — with a diet , an apology, or silence. It's not weakness. It's survival. It's adapting to their judgment. Feeling like had to conform. All the while feeling so shitty about myself, l turned to food for comfort.
