Toronto Timepiece Show 2025 short report
Last weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the Toronto Timepiece Show at the Meridian Arts Centre in North York, ON. This was the second-ever show and I was bummed out to miss it last September. If you've never been to a watch show, I would strongly encourage you to attend. There were around 80 different watch makers from across the globe, as well as a good number of local (Canadian, provincial) makers. The best part of it was the ability to try many watches in one place. I was lucky enough to try a couple of watches from Scottish makers (Clarence, Paulin), French makers (Serica, Yema) and I even tried on a Breitling Navitimer (est. value $12,000 CDN!!) I don't think I've even had something that expensive on my wrist, ever! The mood was super chill and I spent a couple of hours talking to the makers, asking questions and admiring their work. A big thank-you to the show organizers. It was free admission as long as you got your online tickets before the show. I now have a better idea of the types and styles of watch that I prefer. All I need now is some disposable income :-)
WOTD โ€” Timex Ironman Triathlon
Happy Tool Watch Tuesday! No physical therapy today except at-home exercising, so going with my Timex Ironman Triathlon Endure 30 Shock Watch today. At 42mm, a little larger and higher profile than my trusty G-Shock 5600, but perfect for an at-home day. Reliable and easy-to-read, I love these Ironman watches! If interested in the full specs, along with more information and images, I invite you to visit my Introductory Post for this piece. Best wishes for a Tantalizing Tool Watch Tuesday, everyone!

Nice! I think I have the same watch. Originally bought mine to aid my sports coaching.

Happy Tool Watch Tuesday! A busy day today, doing some rearranging around the place, so reached for one of my favorites, the Timex Ironman Triathlon Endure 30 Shock. At 42mm, this is a nice size without being overpowering. All the features I need, plus easy readability. If interested in the full specs, along with more information and images, I invite you to visit my Introductory Post for this piece. Best wishes for a Terrifically Tantalizing and Tasty Tool Watch Tuesday!

I think I have the same watch (see photo)! Big buttons and easy-to-read numerals were essential for me, especially when I was coaching sports. Great choice!

Thanks for the video! Watched the whole thing. Have always worn my watches on the inside of the wrist. Personally, I find them easier to read that way.

@Bill Tomlinson Yeah, for me, it's just a feeling. To each their own! (As long as we're fans of watches ๐Ÿ˜€)

Happy Saturday! Talk about a watch that just sits and feels perfect on my wrist and this is it. My new Timex Ironman Triathlon watch โ€” this is the second time I've worn it โ€” stays put all day, no matter what I'm doing. With the blue color, overall shape, and easy readability, I am loving this one! If interested in the full specs, along with more information and images, I invite you to visit my Introductory Post for this piece. Best wishes for a Sensational Saturday everyone!

I have owned Timex Ironman watches since the 1990s. I originally bought one for my running habit. Then I kept using them, especially for my sports coaching. I liked the large numbers and the big buttons and the Indiglo. Tried a square G-Shock two years ago, but the buttons were too small. So I ended up with another Ironman! Nice watch, James!
