This week, I experienced a test of my courage. Courage is being able to provide someone, or myself, with honest advice that his /my own actions could be reasons for conflict in others.

I work as a broker between manufacturers and retailers/wholesalers. One of my wholesaler customers is exceptionally difficult to manage. I need to step back from taking business transactions personally.

Consistency is the Leadership Advantage
Leadership Drop - Consistency. Consistency is not the exciting part of leadership. It’s not what gets attention. It’s not what gets applause. But it is what produces results. Most leaders start strong. Very few sustain. That’s where the gap is. Leadership is not built in what you start. It is built in what you sustain. If you haven’t read this week’s issue of The Collective, go back and read it. Then come back here. Question: What have you started strong… but failed to sustain? If you’re already subscribed, go check your inbox. If not, subscribe here and read this week’s issue: [Subscribe Link]

The people whom we expect to follow us, as leaders, expect consistency. We don't do this for us, we do this for them.
