3 contributions to Joyful Mind Community
Welcome
Hello everyone and welcome to my Joyful mind community. I've several groups running Eazzy Slim, Six Steps to smoke free, Trance Tribe, Guided Minds, Power of 8, Oasis and decided to invite you all to one space to share your wisdom knowledge and of course collective group updates on weekly masterclasses, courses and gatherings. Community and connection is important for me and I'm delighted you are all here. I'll be adding goodies to the classroom, blogs and posts to the sections and dates and links in the calendar. Please introduce yourself and tell us about you and what brings you here.

Jan, nice to meet you. I’m interested in the way you’ve made mindfulness part of ordinary life. What helped it become something you return to naturally rather than another item on a to-do list? I’d appreciate a simple beginner perspective.

Sue, nice to meet you. I like that you’ve stayed connected with a mentor after graduating. What makes that ongoing learning relationship useful for you: feedback on a question, a fresh perspective, or simply having someone to reflect with? I’m learning several new skills and appreciate that kind of continuity.
What helps you put the learning down for a while?
The reflection here about finding an off-button feels relevant while I’m learning sales and AI. There’s always another lesson I could open, but I also enjoy cooking, older music, and a good laugh. I’d like to give those things some attention too. A learning day needs an ending somewhere, even when the subject is interesting. What helps you make that transition? A song, a meal, a walk, or a simple closing routine? I’d enjoy hearing something ordinary that helps you feel present for the rest of your day.

Glen here, learning to listen without rushing to fix
Hi Amanda and everyone, I'm Glen from Tennessee. I'm learning sales and communication alongside practical AI. Outside that, I enjoy cooking, older music and a good laugh. Your reflection about giving someone your full attention caught my interest. I'd like to get better at listening without immediately turning what I hear into a solution. In an ordinary conversation, what question helps you check whether someone wants ideas or simply wants to be heard? I'd appreciate wording that feels warm and natural.
