Im seeing alot of new pop ups in chatgpt each day i go in. They better not turn this into AMAZON! I also saw a chatgpt commerical on TV yesterday. Anyone else seeing ads for chatpt in the app or on tv? I should have taken the screenshots

Yes! Have you listened to people talking about AEO? Answer Engine Optimization which is the ai version of SEO. The ads in LLM's are one of the ways some are saying that the ai companies will make their money with ai tools. Big retailers are expected to be early adopters to LLM ads because they have the cash to invest. The expectation is we'll notice more ads as we go and small businesses that can rank in the ai/llm search returns (the AEO in action) will have stronger marketing reach than those that don't figure it out.
