According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, legally these unverified and unauthorized items must be removed. If they ask you about submitting a FTC / police report of these accounts, say you have already completed that step. If they ask you if you contacted the original creditors, again, say yes you have completed that step. They may place you on hold, just to do some data entry but don’t worry. When they come back they should say they will investigate and it may take up to 30 days to complete the investigation. However, the following business day, all of the inquiries you asked to get deleted should be deleted. Equifax may take longer, but no more than 48 hours. *This is an inquiry deletion hack.
