In almost every sales conversation for an automation, this question comes up, sometimes in different words: "What if it stops working?" or "What if it does something wrong?" A lot of beginners answer with "it won't." That's the wrong answer, because the client knows it will, eventually. A better answer has three parts: 1. How you'll know: "If it fails, I get an alert straight away, usually before you notice." 2. What happens meanwhile: "Your team can do it the old way, and nothing gets lost. Everything waits in a list." 3. How fast you'll fix it: "Within one business day, included in the monthly plan." Having this answer ready makes you sound like someone who's done it before, even on your first client. It also forces you to actually build the alerting. How do you answer "what if it breaks?" when a client asks?
