Reflection on the Breathwork Session from Last Saturday I maintained the breathwork throughout the entire session. During the session there were moments of physical discomfort, which was probably also due to the fact that I was lying on a flat surface/rug without any cushions. Because of this, I had to adjust my position from time to time, sometimes with my legs raised, sometimes with my knees bent, and at other times with my legs fully extended which allowed me to continue comfortably enough throughout the session. In addition, I noticed that after a while I was able to breathe through the physical discomfort, causing it to gradually diminish. At certain moments my arms and hands started tingling and I temporarily lost some sensation in them. My feet became colder, and I suddenly had the feeling that more circulation needed to flow through them, so I took off my socks, which helped. There were moments when I felt slightly nauseous and some gas rose from my stomach. At those times, I adjusted my breathing-pace by breathing more slowly and a little less deeply. During the breath-hold periods, there were no real psychological insights, but they were moments of deep calmness. By the end of the session, I felt somewhat lightheaded, which also made it difficult to immediately put into words how I was feeling. I was also extremely thirsty, so the glass of water tasted exceptionally good. That night, for the first time in a long while, I slept for nine hours. Normally, I sleep between six and seven hours. I was also able to recall the dreams from the previous two nights very clearly, which allowed me to make some very interesting and informative analyses that brought remarkable messages. The first dream seemed to be a meeting with a realization, while the second dream felt like a journey carrying a message: “something unknown is presenting itself and asks not for an explanation, but for a relationship” … Something else happened during the breathwork session. I started the session with quite a heavy cold, and by the end of the session it was almost completely gone.
