Belated response, I’m going with 3, and reaching out to a few friends I haven’t talked to in quite a while
😎 Silly Little Saturday
No goals. No pressure. Just vibes. “Life is too important to be taken seriously.” — Oscar Wilde Today’s mission (should you choose to accept it): Do one slightly ridiculous thing just because you can. • Dance in your kitchen • Eat something just because it sounds good • Take the long way for no reason • Laugh at something dumb (preferably your own joke) 👉 Your turn:What’s your “silly little thing” today? Drop it below… bonus points if it makes someone else smile 👇

Yesterday, my dad and I listened to some of the folk music he always loved, and sang along loudly in the garden. I was worried we would disturb some of the other residents , but it turned out they were singing along as well. Not as much silly, but really made me smile.
🌞 Let It Go Sunday🌞
“You can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one.” We all carry little “should haves”…things we wish we said, did, or handled differently. But here’s the truth—you did the best you could with who you were at the time. Today isn’t about fixing the past…it’s about loosening your grip on it. 👉 Take a breath 👉 Forgive yourself (even just a little) 👉 Make space for something new Simple Sunday reset:What’s one small thing you’re ready to let go of?

Wow! Honestly, that’s such a challenge for me. My whole life seems to be “should haves.” I spend a lot of time in therapy working on giving grace to the young person I was, and understanding (as you put so eloquently) that the person I was then did the best she could. I’m not quite there yet, but I’ve take a breath, and I’m working on the rest.

I will be honest, this was not a high energy week. I was dealing with a lot of dad issues, both health and financial, all of which I find very draining. But I had a nice dinner with my daughter on Friday, which picked me up a bit.
