AI tools can be addictive and distracting, but that’s a conversation for another day. Let’s look at AI roles. When we begin to think of AI in terms of roles and positions we begin to see the layers and imagine even new layers. We don’t talk about that enough. For existing roles like CAIO for instance, (Chief AI Officer) what are the defined activities and objectives, who set them…etc. To be more with AI (as a leader), you’ll need to be willing to also talk about the aspects that doesn’t have to do with speed, leverage, tokens, agents etc. And to have sound conversations in these other areas, your foundations with AI, agents, communication, efficiency, deployment need to be in place.
