I studied under Heisig and am already familiar with quite a bit, but what I don't like about this book is that you don't learn the readings, only the meaning. You know what it means, but how to pronounce it is completely missing.

Nice, that was very beginner but still great! in Supermarket or Hotels to check in. At the train Station or bus Station. Asking for rooms if you dident book a hotel ...stuff like that! 🤭🤩
ok so I was getting super frustrated with words that sound similar (or identical) and have different translations. The secret is in the Kanji (always different from my experience). This would be easy to figure out if you could just sort the cards alphabetically in Anki, but apparently this is a known limitation of their database engine. bizarre. I did it myself and put it in excel. Here you go!
