API Integration
I am planning/started developing using Claude Code. Fairly simple: The user will log onto the app I am developing, view data on a Supabase database, update and save. So far, everything is easy. Help needed:- Only the data fields to be edited will be pulled from an existing database of a web CRM system, and once the data is edited by the user using the app, the updated data must be pushed back to the CRM database again. In priciple I understand what an API must do and, at a high level, how it works, but since I have never done an API Post and Call (I am not a developer), I would like to know what I need from the developers of the CRM system If someone has a playbook info for me I can follow for that integration, I would really appreciate some help/pointers This is all I have for now, hence I would like to know what else, if I need, I should ask for: https://www.hireandservice.com/terms/developer

The hidden tax costing you clients.
(simple fix) I hopped on a call with an AI founder last Thursday who was struggling to get bookings and clients. The value proposition of his AI service was great, but I spotted the issue straight away: → His messaging was quietly shaming his prospects. (He didn’t mean to of course or even realise he was doing it) But if your messaging entails that your prospects are: • Disorganized, wasting time, or behind on AI… You’re associating the problem with their identity. And the closer the pain is to their identity, the harder it is to convert them. But if you make the problem EXTERNAL, you dissociate the problem from them. Taking the blame off them makes your service 10x more desirable. Put the blame on: • The systems they have, because they can’t keep up with their workload • The industry's fast pace being overwhelming Because when you separate the problem from the person, you remove the emotional tax of saying yes. Your prospects are already stressed and overwhelmed. Make the problem external - not internal. That’s how you earn their trust and make it easy for them to say yes. __ If you enjoyed this, follow me on LinkedIn for more marketing stuff for AI Founders. I hope this helps, Dan šŸ¤

Top prompting techniques
Hey ! I came across a post about advanced prompting techniques and thought it would be cool to compare notes with you all 1. Chain of Thought (CoT) Ask the model to ā€œthink step-by-stepā€ — perfect for complex reasoning or breaking down tasks. 2. Role-Based Prompting Tell the model who it is (e.g. ā€œYou’re a brand strategistā€) and you’ll get much more focused answers. 3. Prompt Chaining Link multiple prompts together, feeding the output of one into the next. Super powerful for workflows. 4. Self-Reflection & Refinement Ask it to review its own response and improve it. You’d be surprised how often it can level itself up. 5. Goal-Driven Prompting Set a clear objective (like ā€œconvinceā€, ā€œsummarizeā€, or ā€œinspireā€) and guide the model toward it. 6. Retrieval-Augmented Prompting (RAG) Give the model access to your own docs or data to make its answers smarter and more grounded. 7. Structured Output Prompting Ask for answers in formats like tables, bullet points, or JSON – super useful for apps, automation, or clean notes. Drop your favorite prompt tricks below! Let’s gooo — one prompt at a time.

My Learnings After 1 Year: 50 Projects, 20 Regular Clients with n8n
#Introduction I'm Rodrigo, a programmer with over 20 years of experience based in Texas, USA. After completing my AI & Machine Learning Masters, I launched an AI Agency focused on AI Agents and Automation, and for the last 6 months specifically focused on n8n for businesses generating $1M+ annually. #Key Insights Ideal Clients: Companies with 10+ employees earning $5-10M yearly. You'll work directly with owners (shorter sales cycles) and find better opportunities to improve processes. Best Acquisition Channel: LinkedIn - easily identify decision-makers, engage with their content, then connect with a friendly (non-sales) message. Share valuable content before suggesting demos. Sales Approach: Offer a Proof of Concept (POC) during meetings to demonstrate practical solutions to specific problems. Product Focus: I excel in just three revenue-generating solutions (marketing, sales, customer service), all Ready-to-Deploy. This allows for faster implementation and unified improvements. Pricing Model: Monthly fees outperform one-time setup fees. They provide continuity, prevent "starting from zero" each month, and eliminate friction around maintenance charges. #Clients to Avoid: - Companies under $1M revenue (require foundational work) - Businesses with undefined processes - Those expecting AI to solve cash flow problems - Clients without existing, functioning processes #Operational Tips: - Automate your internal processes - Keep onboarding and support initially manual to better understand clients - Invest in help desk software (I use the open-source solution from https://frappe.io/helpdesk) - Implement professional workflow monitoring (I use n8ops from https://www.n8ops.com) which gives me unified visibility across all client workflows. This has been transformative for proactive maintenance and quick troubleshooting, dramatically reducing downtime and improving client satisfaction. - Focus on rapid value creation (30% of my new clients come from referrals)

@Rodrigo Santos , Thanks for sharing this really good info. It serves a bigger goal for beginners. It solidifies the concept that one can make a difference for businesses and can resolve issues with automation that will put money in your pocket.
